The Earth’s largest free literary festival, ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival 2015 will start from January 21 to January 25. The ninth edition of Jaipur Literature Festival will held at all the five venues of Diggi Palace Hotel, Jaipur. As every year, this edition is also free to all. This is the only literature festival where audience and reader can interact with more than 250 authors at one venue.
This year, around 254 author have confirmed their visit to JLF’15. We can’t hide the fact that all the editions of JLF had created controversies. In each edition, few authors, writer give a controversial statement which creates spicy headline for media hub.
JlF is not only the festival to enhance the literary work in English or Hindi but also other 17 Indian regional language. All authors, writers and poet give their views on the topic which is related to the session. It is very interesting to witness foreign authors discussing about the related topic with regional or Indian writers.
The five-day festival features debate, discussions, celebrities sessions, cultural and traditional programs, workshops, story telling, book launch, lavish lunch and dinner with musical night. There are various stalls selling books and other Rajasthani’s products. The entire venue is decorated in a traditional Rajasthani stay to represent the rich culture of the state.
All the sessions are conducted between 11 am to 6 pm followed by the dinner with musical night. Around 25,000 people are expected visit JLF’15 everyday.
